Senior Prom

Benjamin James Reid proposed to me August 1, 2002. We met at the Manistee County Fair in 1997. I currently attend Baker College of Muskegon and he is a Srgt in the United States Air Force. This is an actual picture from my Senior Prom in the spring of 2001.

I graduated from Onekama High School on June 1, 2001.

Jamie's Car

This is my first car! With a little help with financing from dad, I was able to purchase this car in the summer of 2002. It looks cute, but it seems to attract cops...and I was always told that it was the "arrest-me" red cars that I needed to avoid! I also had an experience with the GVSU Security running into the side of my stopped car with their bike this fall. LOL! I was not at fault!

20th Birthday

My whole family chipped in to make sure I still had a birthday cake for my birthday! My mom baked the cake, my younger brother decorated it, and my dad helped me eat it! LOL!

High School Cheerleading Partners

Dan and I went to Onekama Consolidated Schools together since kindergarten. This was our last stunt together in high school. Dan only cheered his senior year because I talked him into it. I've cheered since 5th grade. This particular stunt is known as the "chair". Little did I know, that within a month I would make the GVSU All-Girl Cheer Team!

Bruise

This is what happens when you get tossed off of a full truck of hay bales! My younger brother was on the back with me too and I went to grab him once the bales started to slide off, but I ended up hanging off the side of the truck instead. It turned out that everyone was okay, but I sure had a sore leg for about 6 months after that. The big question after this accident was if the soreness and bruising would be gone in time for the upcoming UCA Collegiate Cheer camp in Wisconsin. As an incoming GVSU Freshman on the team, I wanted to be in top form and was scared that my leg would not be healed in time.

Autograph

Even being a GVSU All-Girl Cheerleader can make you famous enough for people to ask you for an autograph!

Spring Break 2002

While others spent spring break in all the warm areas of the world, I however decided to save money and stay home...But was that a good idea afterall? LOL!

Snow Chair

When the spring break blizzard subsided, I did find some ways to have some fun by playing in the snow! Pictured with me is our beagle, Diamond Back. He enjoyed the snow chair just as much as I did!

Clarice & Jamie

This is one of my senior pictures with my kitty "Clarice". She is the Queen of the house! She's been through alot and has even lived through being in a running car engine. She loves spaghetti, but most of all, Meow Mix with a side of canned kitty food. I don't know her real age because she was a stray kitty from Oleson's Food Store, but I've had her for over 14 years now!

Jamie and Rachel

This is my sister-n-law and I at the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Concert at the Little River Casino.

Katie's shoes

This is my niece and God daughter, Katrina Lynn Smith. She is pictured with all of her shoes that either her father or myself have gotten her. We both work at Payless ShoeSource so she's definately a lucky girl! Katrina has her own site as well.
