To write. To inspire. To be. To live. To reach freedom.
Then all goes blank. What happened to all the inspiration that beckoned me to come to the computer and to express my inner thoughts with the written word? The desire to create, to write and to share is like a burning fire that when directed in the right way it can heat a meal or when not directed it can burn your house and all that you own to the ground. It is the most life-giving yet deadly passion that a person who calls themselve a writer can have. It is a desire that can never fully be quenched, for if it was the writer would be stripped of their purpose. The hope and dream to create a story worth reading would in turn become meaningless, for a writer is spurred on by their dream to succeed at crafting words to best express their ideas.
