Story: Donovan is one of a pair of twins who were kidnapped from London, England. The Disciples of Darkness believe that the twin boys were the fulfillment of an ancient legend. The legend stated that the twin boys born on a specific date (July 19, 1987) must be possessed by the souls of a Disciple of Darkness and a general of the Minions of Darkness. After which they must prove their worth in battle by killing the world's bravest heroes. Then they must be sacrificed simultaneously on the night of the Red Moon. Only then can the Dark One take on his physical form on Earth. The boy Neil and his twin brother, Stanton were kidnapped after the second Doomsday tournament. Stanton and Neil were taken from the London refugee camp and flown to the Disciples of Darkness HQ in the deep jungles of a small island off the coast of Japan. There a dark ceremony took place. While Stanton's soul was completely removed, Neil's soul remained somewhat intact. When Knightmare's twisted soul was placed within Neil's body, Neil's soul merged with Knightmare's rather than being completely taken over. The resulting consciousness is neither Neil nor Knightmare, neither good nor evil, but instead a hybrid of those two souls. Now known as Donovan, this new soul pretends to follow orders from the Disciples of Darkness, but instead ponders the terrible deeds from Knightmare's memory and the loving feelings from Neil's. Donovan has the power of telekinesis, the ability to move and affect things with the power of his mind. He can stop a bullet in mid-air and send it back at the shooter. However, this power is extremely taxing on Donovan's mind and body, and overuse of this power could easily kill him. Donovan is trying to decide just who he is and what side he should take. Should he go with his feelings of love and devotion to the human species he has from a shorter lifetime, or should he embrace the evil side that has so long been a part of him? What is his destiny? What is the answer?
