*Once again, Angelfire forced me to further split the list up.* Genre and quality keys are at the bottom of this page. Please consult me before requesting Hana Yori Dango so I can check the tracking. I have had problems with some of the tracking with one of the earlier tapes of this particular series. If you want to know what a series is about, try anipike.com or e-mail me. I'm happy to help. Hopefully I can someday have short summaries for each.
Titles in red are new.
Titles in yellow are trade only.

Genre Key
-
Please note that these are MY definitions of the genres! They may not be the universal definitions! For shoujo and shounen, I intend to split these up into magical girl and high school categories, but my definitions are by typical content, although the actual definition is who it's marketed towards.

Samurai: Traditional samurai anime involving swords.
Cars and J-band: I'm eventually going to split titles up into content categories like "high school" and "magical" rather than market categories like just "shoujo". These are two such divisions of content categories.
Shoujo: Anime marketed for girls. There are no special requirements, but such anime may involve romance, drama, heavy emphasis on love, sweetness, and a female heroine. Two common types of shoujo are mahou (magic) shoujo and high-school romance shoujo. Or, at least that's what I call them.
Mecha: Anime involving huge, mechanical robots piloted by people.
Fantasy: Dragons, wizards, magic (beyond tiara throws), mythical lands, etc.
Gothic: Dark, supernatural, horror. Vampires and the like, but not required to be bloody.
Shounen: Anime marketed for boys. There are no special requirements, but such anime may involve some fanservice, fighting, masculinity and a male hero.
Shounen Ai/Yaoi: Anime involving romance between two men, I warn you that some of these titles may include sexual situations of varying graphic nature.
Classic Shoujo: This refers to shoujo anime made in the 70's or 80's, or made with a 70's/80's/older style. I find this type of anime much more deep and passionate. Classic shoujo often has plots involving sports (tennis, soccer, baseball) or epic period settings (1700's, 1800's, early 1900's).

Quality Key
-
Opinions on quality are purely my own. Tapes marked as A+ are *only* Master or 1st generation tapes. I am also not positive of generation on some of my tapes acquired before understanding generations, but my guesses are fairly accurate. Keep in mind that the first series I acquired were when I was just getting into anime, so I didn't understand all of the generations. In the past year, I have made every effort to acquire 1st generation tapes from the subber or a distributor who had a master copy. I have also gone back and re-requested series in better quality. I will NOT distribute any tape where it is totally impossible to read the subtitles. I will, however, recommend getting tapes I have as C+ elsewhere, if possible.

A+: GREAT. Premium quality. Very few flaws if ANY. (1st gen or Master)
A: Very good! Clear and clean with nice subtitles. (2nd or good 3rd gen)
B: Good. May have a few flaws but has readable subtitles and is fairly clear overall. (3rd or good 4th gen)
C+: May have flaws, hard to read subtitles in some situations, or some shaking. (5th or 6th, not recommended)
+ or -: Slightly better or worse
