RC - Quisten's Quarters

"How about you show me this Quisten character?"

Cynther smiles. "Sure, we could do that." She leads you through the building to the back. A sign on the door states "Quisten's Quarters." You smirk as she knocks on it.

"What?" Cynther questions. You keep your idea about the whole double-Q thing to yourself, though, and shake your head.

It opens, and a reddish-brown skinned Emeralian emerges. He has horns protruding from his head instead of ears like Cynther has, interesting. He seems friendly enough, though, and immediately extends a hand to shake yours.

"Welcome to the Compound! I'm Quisten, though I'm sure you'd already figured that much out. Cynther here was good enough to sponsor me in my project, just as she has done for my sisters Vahyla and Kunara in theirs!"

He does a small half-bow to Cynther and she snorts. "Save it for the emmissaries at the Nagero Racetracks, Quisten." He chuckles and shrugs.

"If you say so, but I don't want to get out of practice."

He turns back to you. "So, just out and visiting Emeral and Cynther brought you over? Has she shown you the portal?"

That piques your interest. "What portal? She never mentioned any portal!"

Cynther sighs. "Quisten, I don't want the visitors getting hurt..." he eyes her. "Okay, I know, they're not going to get hurt but they could get lost..."

He chuckles. "Okay, that's true. See, she built a portal to the Nagero Racetracks so we're always connected. I'm going to be over there quite a bit, but I'll need to get back here, so that was Cynther's solution so she doesn't have to teleport everyone back and forth. She's got responsibilities too."

He pauses. "It's safe... except during storms. But, we don't get storms all that much here, even though it's in the mountains because Emeral's climate is so temperate. But we won't be using it for at least a couple weeks..." he grins.

He seems quite confident. "Well, I wish you guys luck then."

Quisten nods. "Thanks, I'm off to visit my two boys now." He continues grinning and exits his office, leaving you two there in his excitement.
