The Fairy Woods

Here are the Fairy Woods. Be careful not to hurt any of them, some of them are very delicate, and you'll have everyone against you if you should injure one of them! You nod to tell Sundance you understand and proceed with caution....

You are walking with Sundance through the Fairy Woods, but you haven't seen any fairies yet... You are wondering why, when all of a sudden you see a flash of light... Did you see that? You nod. That was one of the many fairies in the Fairy Woods. Most of them you will never see. They are shy and don't like strangers or visitors... But there are some up ahead that actually will let you see them. Come along. With this Sundance picks up the pace and you find yourself running to keep up...

Suddenly there's an oppening in the trees and you are in a small glen. You see flashes of light everywhere! Next to you and far away-- there are fairies everywhere! Several especially stick out, just ahead of you. So you walk to them...

Hello. Says the first of the 3 fairies. I am Winethtra. I have special magick that allows me to control the winter's snow. As you could probably guess, I mostly am found during the winter. Soon it will be my season! I am glad! The winter is so beautiful, is it not? You nod in agreement. It is so sad when the snows melt away though! I wish they would stay for the whole year.... But then there would not be as many flowers and animals. So though it makes me sad, I understand why the snows must go.... Please leave me now, talking like this tires me so much lately.... You turn and walk to the next fairy as you hear a Thank you for understanding behind you....
