I was quite lucky- I have impressed one of Kyria's Children. Kyria is a incredibly rare brown/gold mix. She has lain eggs, I applied for one, and *lucky* me, I recieved one! She has already hatched! Kyria's Bondmate, Tenesha DragonKeeper thinks she may have a mutated gene! I think that is quite interesting.... I've never had a mutation before... Kyria thinks her children are just strong-willed though... *Vintâge has a brother named Kayleb, who also hatched way before scheduled!* Here she is, a purple just as Kyria and her Bondmate, Tenesha DragonKeeper thought..... Isn't she beautiful?
Her name is Vintâge. (pronounced Víntáhjáy; it means beautiful or chosen) I got my hoped purple, just as Tenesha DragonKeeper told me I would (probably)! She has already grown to a teen! I'm so proud of her! But of course any color would have been fully loved and cared for in my Weyr. Sunbloom is not a prejudiced weyr.... we love all our animals equally, be they the highest possible rank, or the lowest. Although I do admit... I love the purple animals a *tiny* bit more sometimes.... That's when I'm on a "Purple Fit" as my animals have come to call them... Once I painted an entire wing purple when I had a Purple Fit.... But I came to my senses eventually and painted it normally again... Anyways, I am still not quite done with that West Wing.... I really must go work on that some more! Good-bye and Great Luck to you!
