The Valentine Ticondas' LairYou hear a voice that sounds somewhat hollow... "Hi. This is where I keep my Valentine Ticondas! I got the eggs from Hope, and they hatched into wonderful babies, they've grown quite a bit since then, but they're still cute! She found them at Labrynth's Lair. Would you like to see them? Here they are..."
"Hello, Visitor to Sunbloom... I am Crux- the mighty Pink Ticonda! I am now fully an adult, and looking for a mate. Do you know of any females that might be interested in me?" You are thinking about it, when another Ticonda runs up. "How about me? Know any females that would prefer a red?"
Looking at how they seem to want mates makes you think if you've seen any for them... "No, actually I haven't seen any.... Sorry.." They look downcast, but they soon cheer up when L'gan and Cynther step into view.... The two Ticondas run over to them like puppies! "Whoa! Down Maronz!" You can definately tell who is Maronz's favorite by L'gan's startled cries.... Funny.... Crux doesn't jump around on Cynther like Maronz does to L'gan... "Oh, that's because Crux thinks he's too old for horse-play." :She laughs: "You should see him when Visitors aren't around though!" :she smiles: "Anyway- Aren't they pretty? Ticondas are *very* protective of their bonds.... Both of these Ticondas are not mine, as you probably figured out.... Crux is mine, and Maronz belongs to L'gan.... We decided to put them together because they are slightly social animals, and do better with those of their own kind..... And so we don't go home one big bruise after visiting them and playing with them for awhile!" :they both laugh: "Ticondas _can_ speak... In fact, Crux has become quite the talker, and Maronz has even come out of his shell.... I'm glad.... I don't think they speak to Visitors yet though... Sorry!" "Actually I already knew Ticondas spoke- at least these two- they spoke to me earlier before you got here!" Cynther gives you a surprized look. "Oh! I'm so glad.... they've just taken a big step today!" She bends over and gives Crux a kiss.... "What a wonderful Ticonda you are!" :Crux blushes and Cynther laughs: "I bet Crux would prefer if you left now.... His 'mommy' just embarassed him!" You leave the meadow, and can hear Cynther's shouts and laughter behind you.... Something about "Crux- down!" I guess he decided horse-play wasn't so babyish after all!
