Perth Zoo and Rottnest Island

On a random Friday afternoon in February we travelled 30 minutes by train to the West Australian capital city of Perth to see some animals. As many of you already know, I have since consumed one of them. Can you guess which one? Hint: I'm in a picture with it!
Hanging with the rellies
Did you know koala bears are doped up all day because the leaves they eat from gum trees have marajuana effects? No wonder why those kookaburras laugh!
Not to be confused with the kangaroo... its the cousin the wallaby
OK! I admit it! I ate him!
The skyline view of Perth
Astronauts also attacked me on our way back to the train - they wanted to take me to their planet and probe me (or something like that)
Rottnest Island is an island not more than 30K in circumference about 12 miles off the coast of Fremantle. A community of people live there, but tourists choose to visit for the great beachs, snorkeling, shipwrecks and bike riding! We, being the seasoned travellers that we think we are, decided to stay overnight in a hostel, rent (exuse me - HIRE) bikes and peddle around the island, stopping where we wanted to for snorkeling. We saw dolphins and did one of our favorite things: ate ice cream.
Our hostel was an old Army barracks.

Coconut-chocolate... We ate it ALL, too!

Enough biking for two days! The bikes didn't even have gears!
