"Jordan, Jordan, Jordie, you have to get up!!!" She opened her eyes, Andy was standing next to her bed shaking her. "What is it, what time is it?" she asked half-asleep while rubbing sleep out of her eyes. "Hurry up and get dressed we have to go to the hospital!" "Why are you panicking what happened." "It's mom, they got into a terrible accident." Jordan sat up to look her brother in the eye, "this isn't a joke is it?" She said gingerly. "NO!!! Why would I joke about something like this!? Just hurry up and get dressed!" He left the room and Jordan obeyed. She Threw on a pair of dark flared-leg jeans and a Nike tee-shirt, and ran down the steps to meet Andy in the kitchen. They got into his rusty old Ford truck. They sat silent for the whole ride there. When they reached thier destination, they walked briskly into the building to the front desk. "May I help you?" The receptionist said cheerfully. "Could you tell me what room Evylyn Campbell is in?" Andy asked flatly. The woman, who looked like she was about twelve, typed away on her computer for a moment. A puzzeled look crossed her face, "We haven't admitted anyone by that name." Andy who was all ready flustered, pounded his fist on the desk, "LOOK LADY! I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD FIND MY MOTHER HERE, NOW I EXPECT TO SEE HER!" He was shouting at the top of his lungs. "If you could tell us the nature of the-" "Just tell me where my mom is." He cut her off. The receptionist stayed surprisingly calm. "Could you spell her name for me, first and last?" Andy did so. She typed the name in again. And shook her head sympathetically. "I JUST WANT TO SEE MY FUCKING MOM OK!!!!" He screamed. "Sir, I am going to have to ask you to leave immediately or I will be forced to have you physically ejected." The receptionist said as if she were reading a script. Andy nodded at Jordan to go outside and he followed. When they reached the car, he keeled over the steering wheel, and cried tears of fury.
