Cristina Ablaza (Swing/Ensemble) proudly joins "Rent" directly from the national tour of "Miss Saigon" (Yvette/Gigi). Her regional credits include "Song of Singapore," "West Side Story," "The Merchant of Venice" and many others.  A native San Franciscan, Cristina thanks her family, friends and voice teacher Sean Martinfield. "Praise to God and His blessings."

Christian Anderson (Ensemble/Mark/ROGER) is very excited to be a part of the "Rent" national tour. Christian played in bands from New Haven to Seattle, then moved on to regional theatre. Last seen as Joe Goldman in "Take It Easy" off-Broadway. Christian dedicates this performance to the memory of his grandfather.

Stephan Alexander (Angel) is elated to be starting the national tour of "Rent" with this cast. Credits? Plenty. But they all pale in comparison to this production.  Thanks to Bernie, Michael and Tim. Special love and thanks to friends and family, especially Robert, the best little brother in the world.

Danny Blanco (SOL Soloist, Mr. Jefferson & Others) joins this tour of Rent directly from the Canadian company where he played Collins for the past year. Danny is from Montreal and began his singing career in 1998 touring across Canada and the US with a local funk band. He pursued a solo career in which he performed on radio, television and in studio back-up sessions with established Canadian and international artists.

Rufus Bonds Jr(Tom Collins) comes to Rent after recently performing the role of Jim Conley in the workshop of Parade, directed by Harold Prince. He played Judah in the Live Ent. production of Joseph...Dreamcoat. Rufus' performance as John in Miss Saigon won him a nomination for a Dora Mavor Moore Award as "Best Actor In A Musical." On Broadway, he performed in the hit show Once On This Island. He will be returning to Broadway this fall recreating his role in Parade.

C.C. Brown (Tom Collins) is a native of New Haven, Conn. Favorite roles include John in "Miss Saigon," Poppa in "Starlight Express," James Thunder Early in "Dreamgirls," the Narrator in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," Hud in "Hair," title role in "The Wiz" and featured roles in "Grand Hotel" and "Sophisticated Ladies." "All praises to God! I love you Momma!!!"

Marcus Chaney (Swing) is happy to join the cast of RENT. Credits: Miss Saigon (John) Germany, Don't…Cope, Get Down The Pounds with Richard Simmons, and recently rejoined his fellow singers at Motown Café in NYC. He would like to thank God and his family for all their support during his career. LOVE YOU!

Dwayne Clark(Benny/Tom Collins) is happy to be joining the national touring company of "Rent." Credits include: "Smokey Joe's Cafe" Broadway, national and international tours. Dwayne thanks God, Mom, Dad, Tiffany, family and friends.

Timothy Cole (Swing/Understudy) is proud to be in "Rent." He has many regional/TV credits including his most recent work as assistant director/choreographer for Theatre Virginia's production of "Five Guys Named Moe." Timothy is also president/C.E.O. of his own music production company, StoneDancer Inc. He would like to thank God for his many blessings and thank his parents for their love and support.

COURTNEY COREY (Swing/Understudy) is proud to be making her national touring debut with Rent. Regional credits: Hair (Jeannie); Hello, Dolly! (Irene Molloy); Ruthless! (Judy Denmark). A recent graduate of San Diego State, Courtney spent most of 1996 performing at Tokyo Disneyland. She wishes to thank everyone who helped make this dream come true.

Luther Creek (Mark) is happy you are here to see "Rent." Recent credits include the workshop of "Violet" at Lincoln Center and "The Who's Tommy" (European premiere). Luther created the title role in Randy Newman's "Faust" in the original workshop and played Claude (at the Colonial) in the 25th anniversary tour of "Hair."

Kristoffer Cusick (Swing/Angel/Dance Captain) is excited to be making his theatrical debut in "Rent." He has traveled as a singer and dancer throughout Europe and Japan, and choreographed in his native California where he has served as a State Youth Talent Ambassador. Kristoffer would like to thank his family and friends for their unconditional love and support.

Julie P. Danao (Ensemble) is proud to join the cast of "Rent." Her credits include "Miss Saigon" (second national tour), Disney's "Aladdin's Oasis" and "Pocahontas" stage shows.  TV includes "The Making of Aladdin." "Thank you Lord for the music, family, friends and life. I love you Grandpa and Cody boy."

Evan D'Angeles (Ensemble/Angel) joins the "Rent" family directly from Broadway's "Miss Saigon." Credits: "Cats" (Hamburg), "My Fair Lady," "The King and I," "Phantom." An inspiring Christian contemporary singer/songwriter sends his praises, "My love to the Lord, Jesus Christ! To the wise, my friends, my agent John and beloved family...a Gift!"

D'Monroe (Ensemble/Benny) a Hampton University graduate from Baltimore, has performed in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Studio Theatre, Source Theatre, Rep Stage and Round House Theatre. Film: "Clear and Present Danger," "Major League II" and "Meteor Man." TV: "Homicide" and "A Man Called Hawk." He is also the voice for several shows for the Discovery and Learning channels.

Laura Dias (Mimi) is a singer/songwriter overjoyed about being part of the Rent family. Theatre credits: Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon Zeolots), West Side Story (Anita), Grease (Rizzo), A Chorus Line (Diana Morales), The Legend (Sara). Thanks to God, family, T, Michael, Tim and Bernie. Jimmy Tavares, it began with you.

Trey Ellett (Mark) Regional credits: Michael John LaChuisa's new musical The Highest Yellow, MacBeth (Malcolm), Merchant of Venice (Lorenzo), Drood (John Jasper), The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe (Edmund), seasons at Seaside Music theatre and Mill Mountain. Co-founder of the NYC based theatre company Eight Productions. Thanks to incredible friends and family, especially Mom and Caroline, this one's for you!

Christina Fadale (Ensemble) joins Rent from the European tour of Fame where she played Serena. An L.A. native, she studied acting at Loyola Marymount , performed in numerous regional theatres and commercials and industrials. Favorite roles: Chava in Fiddler on the Roof; Sweethart in In Trousers; the Witch in Into the Woods. Thank you God, Mom and Dad.

Christopher Freeman (Temporary Swing/Ensemble) began his career as a memeber of The Joffrey Ballet and continues to guest with Complexions (a concept in dance). Theatre credits include Carousel, National Tour Where Eagles Fly (Lincoln Theatre) Regional: Gods Trombones, Sweet Charity, Bubblin Brown Sugar. I thank God for his constant blessings and for making a way out of no way.

Ray Garcia(Understudy) an accomplished singer/songwriter with his own band, has also shared the stage with Debbie Gibson, Jody Watley and Gloria Estefan, to name a few.  A well-rounded performer, Ray has many TV and theatre credits.  He was last seen as Dracula in Barbara Epstein's "Beetlejuice's Rockin' Graveyard Revue." Ray dedicates his performance to his family.

Danielle Lee Greaves (SOL Soloist, Mrs. Jefferson & Others), is happy to be joining the Rent family. Broadway credits include Madison Square Garden's The Wizard of Oz, Sunset Boulevard and the 1994 revival of Show Boat. Thank you to my family, friends, and the universe for all the constant support and love.

Joshua Greene(Swing/Ensemble), plagued by calls from Spielberg and Scorcese, almost threw in the towel and headed home to Indiana. Thankfully, the folks of "Rent" saw fit to save him from the perils of tinseltown drudgery, and he is... pretty darn happy about it. Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

Carrie Hamilton(Maureen) has appeared on television in "Fame," on screen in "Tokyo Pop" and onstage in "Member of the Wedding." She also fronted the L.A.-based band Gilt Lily and has written two screenplays with her husband, Mark.

Wanda M. Kelly(Swing, Understudy Joanne): is honored and blessed to be chosen to perform in this critically acclaimed play with such a talented cast. Her performances include: Richard III (Lady Anne), Taming of the Shrew (Kate), Betsy Brown (Betsy Brown), Little Shop of Horrors (Ronette), Medea (Medea), For Colored Girls... (Lady in Blue), Hair (Ronny).

Erin Keaney(Maureen), Erin is thrilled to be a part of Rent. Originally from Toronto, Erin's past credits include I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, RSVP, Broadway, and Crazy For You. All my love to family and friends and Brett for being my sugar daddy in such a short period of time.

Micheal Lee (Swing/Understudy), Broadway: Miss Saigon (Thuy), East West Players: Pacific Overtures (Manjiro); Sweeney Todd (Birdseller). Regional: Baby (Danny); Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas); King and I (Lun Tha). Films: Highland Park Blues (Lee), Yong at Hart (Yong). Graduate of Stanford University. Dedicates this to his family.

BRIAN M. LOVE (Benny) is absolutely thrilled and feels blessed to be making his Rent debut. A native of Cleveland, OH, his regional credits include Ain't Misbehavin' (Ken); Big River (Jim); Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Valentin); Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?; and The All Night Strut. "Much love to family and all glory and praise to the Lord. Without Him, I'd be nothing."

Sylvia MacCalla(Joanne) a native Californian, is thrilled to be making her East Coast debut in "Rent." Theatre credits include "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas;" "Good, Bad, But Beautiful;" "80 Days;" "Gift Rap;" and, most recently the bride in Barbara Epstein's "Beetlejuice's Rockin' Graveyard Revue." Sylvia has two CDs in Japan. "Much love and thanks to family and guardian angel B.E."

Kamilah Martin(Swing / Joanne) joins the cast of "Rent" with a host of theatrical credits, including "Hello, Dolly!" with Nell Carter and Timoune in "Once on this Island." She made her film debut in "American President." Kamilah gives thanks and honor to God for this opportunity and to her family and friends for their support.

Jenny Maxwell (Ensemble) comes from a musical family in San Antonio, Texas where she began singing at age five. She has been seen as Dorothy in The Wiz as well as Tina Turner in Afro Puffs. After completing her Bachelor's Degree from our Lady of the University, she is making her professional debut in Rent. She would like to thank God, her family, and friends for their constant love and support.

Alan Mingo, Jr. (Understudy/Swing) is from the DC metro area, but spent the last three years at the University of California at Irvine, where he just received his masters in Acting. Last fall he was seen co-starring on "Frasier." Alan thanks God, his family and friends (especially Mom and Aaron) for their never-ending love and support. He dedicates this performance to James Mingo.

Lambert Moss(Ensemble) is a singer from New York's East Village. As his alter ego Ebony Jet, he is a regular featured performer at Don Hill's Squeeze Box and the outdoor festival Wigstock. He would like to thank God, his family, friends, Bernie and the producers for the change to pay his "Rent."

John Eric Parker(Ensemble) thanks the Lord for "Rent." A New York City native, he has been seen nationally in "Five Guys Named Moe," "Pippin," "The Wiz" and internationally in "Starlight Express." Regional work includes "Once on This Island," "Children of Eden" and "Dutchman." He dedicates his performances to the memory of Darnell Pritchard and Alvaleeta Guess.

Manley Pope(Roger) can currently be seen starring as Devon Whitelaw in the UPN Network series - Sweet Valley High. Other TV and film credits include Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, Guiding Light, and Exorcist III. Off-Broadway roles include John in "Summer and Smoke," at Chelsea Rep and Brandon in "Twist of Fate" at the Tiffany in L.A.

Queen Esther(Ensemble) fronts the blues duo Hoosegow (Mighty, Homestead Records) and is currently shopping her alternative R&B demo. Off-Off-Broadway: "The Moxie Show." National tour; "Sophisticated Ladies" (The Chanteuse), "A Threepenny Opera" (Mrs. Peachum), Bernstein's "Mass." Queen Esther would like to thank Jesus Christ.

Anthony RappOriginal BROADWAY Cast Memeber (Mark) is proud to have been associated with Rent since its '94 studio production at New York Theatre Workshop. Broadway: "Precious Sons" (Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama Desk nomination), "Six Degrees of Separation". Off-Broadway: "Rent" (Obie Award), "Raised in Captivity", "Trafficking in Broken Hearts", "Youth Is Wasted", "Sophistry", "The Destiny of Me". Film and television: Adventures in Babysitting, School Ties, Dazed and Confused, Six Degrees..., Twister, The Mantis Murder, David Searching, "The Lazarus Man." He studies and teaches with Sande Shurin. Thank you, Josh, for giving me your heart. This performance is dedicated in loving memory of my mother.

Terita R. Redd(Ensemble) is a native of Washington D.C. Stage: "God's Trombones", "A Joyful Noise" (American Negro Playwrights). Soloist: Nashville Symphony. Background Vocals: Wynonna Judd, Ziggy Marley, Andy Williams, Patti Austin, Kelly Willians. Recordings: Daryl Coley's "Beyond the Veil" with Veritas. Education: Duke Ellington school of the Arts, Fisk Univ., AIMS Univ. in Graz, Austria.

James Rich(Benny) Regional: "Avenue X" (Milton); "You Can't Take It With You" (Henderson); "The Wizard of Oz" (Tinman); "Purlie." Commercials: USA Network promotional ads, voice-overs, jingles, music videos. In addition, James toured the United States, Europe and Singapore singing back-up for Harry Belafonte.

Daniel J. Robbins(Swing/Ensemble) is thrilled to be working on his favorite show, "Rent," and feels as if he's dreaming. Recent credits include Tony in "West Side Story," Jack in "Into The Woods" and Brother/Sister Freak in "Sunshine in a Can: A Frozen Concentrated Freak Show."  "Love to friends, family and John Boy."

DOMINIQUE ROY (Swing), a Montreal native, joins this cast directly from the Canadian touring company. She made her Broadway debut in Rent. A professional dancer and actress, she performed in a variety of shows in Montreal, Toronto, and the Caribbean. "Thanks to Rosie and Mom for the support and the love. Jonathan, thank you for the miracle."

Simone(Mimi) is pleased to be performing in "Rent." Daughter of Nina Simone, she recently participated in two Disney theatre workshops, playing the title role in "Aida" and Nala in "The Lion King." Simone has toured the world, sung with Latin superstar Rafael and with many of Los Angeles' top musicians, and played Mary in the national tour of "Jesus Christ Superstar." She wishes to thank God for the gift of song.

Curt Skinner(TemporarySwing) Credits: RENT-La Jolla Playhouse in Los Angeles(West Coast premiere) and national tour. Off-Broadway: Babes in Toyland. Disney Channel specials, children CD's(Bright Ideas Label). Numerous voice-overs in animation and commercials. Traveled the world performing his own act on cruise ships. Training: Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Curt has a really nice Mom and Dad in South Carolina.

Cheri Smith (Swing/Ensemble) a summa cum laude graduate of U.C.L.A. and a native of Los Angeles, is overjoyed to be a part of the "Rent" experience. Cheri has choreographed many productions throughout California. Her theatre credits include Anita in "West Side Story," The Narrator in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," Reagan in "King Lear" and Elizabeth in "The Crucible." Cheri wants to thank God, her family, friends and the studio for their love and support.

Amy Spanger(Ensemble/Maureen) Broadway: "Sunset Boulevard" (Betty Schaefer understudy). National tours: "A Chorus Line," "Jekyll & Hyde." Recently completed the Fosse project with Gwen Verdon in Toronto.  Amy is thrilled to be part of "Rent." Thanks to family and friends for their love and support.

Tony Vincent(Swing/Understudy) An Albuquerque, N.M. native, Vincent has performed on stage as an actor, songwriter, and recording artist. After starting a record company out of his college dorm room, he was picked up by EMI Records in 1994. He has had a #1 radio hit and is a spokesperson for United Way of America as they adopt the title song off his last record, One Deed.

Alicia Westelman(Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her professional debut in "Rent." A recent graduate of Dawson College (Theatre) in Montreal, Canada, she has appeared in numerous productions. Favorite roles include: "Orpheus Descending," "Our Town," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Into The Woods." Thanks to family, friends and Domies.

Schele Williams(Performing Swing, Dance Captain) Regional: "Paper Moon" at Goodspeed (dance captain); "A Chorus Line" (Morales). European tours: "The Who's Tommy (Acid Queen understudy); "42nd Street" (Lorraine); "Porgy and Bess" (ensemble).
