Brief Overview
When Utena was a young girl she met a prince who gave her a ring with a rose seal on it. Utena was so taken with this prince that she wanted to become a prince herself one day. Little does Utena know that the ring she wears marks her as a duelist. She ends up fighting a duel for one of her friends, and ends up with a girl who calls herself the Rose Bride. Now the student counsel wants to claim the bride for themselves.
What I Think
This anime is one of the best anime I have ever seen. It's really mysterious and original. The characters really grow on you as you get to know them. One thing that I found to be weird is that there really isn't any stand out villian in this anime, every one on the student counsel are good at heart. Lastly the music for this anime is terrific, I own three CD's off it. Buy this anime trust me you'll love it.
