"Hello?" I asked into the receiver.

"Hey, Corinne? It's me, BJ!" BJ said excitedly.

"Hey... what's up girl?" I asked.

"Well... My brother and the rest of the guys just finished up their US tour, and they're all going to come over to our house tonight to discus their new album!" she cried back. The guys had finally released an album in the states, about 2 years ago. So, this new album was planned to be released worldwide.

"That's cool... so, why call me?" I asked her.

"Well... I was wondering if you could come sleep-over tonight! That way, you can finally meet the guys, and we can spend all night tormenting Nick!!" She answered.

I laughed. "Sure... tormenting Nick... being in a room with 5 guys... sounds good to me!" I said back. I heard BJ laugh and then babble on about something.

"So I'll see you around 7:00?" She asked.

"Yep! I'll be there!" I said back excitedly.

"Cool! Can't wait! Bye!" she said as she hung up.

I got up off my bed and turned off my CD player. I looked at my watch... it was 4:15. So I had almost 3 hours to get ready. I packed my bags, and fixed up... after all, I wanted to look good tonight!!!

It was now about 6:45, so I headed on over to BJ's house. I parked my car outside the driveway, since there were several other vehicles occupying my usual spot. A Jeep, a BMW, a Porsche... some really nice cars! "Figures!" I thought to myself. "They would have nice cars!"

I rang the doorbell. An excited Angel answered the door, (Angel is BJ's little sister... and Aaron's twin).

"Hey sweetie! What's up?" I asked the cute little girl.

"Nothin'!!! Guess what?" she asked smiling wildly.

"What?" I answered back, kind of curious as to why she was so wound up.

"Kevin's here!" She said, grinning.

"Oh really?" I giggled. "Is Kevin cute?" I asked her. She blushed and nodded her head furiously. How cute is that?

"ANGEL!! GET OVER HERE!" I heard BJ shout. Angel ran into the living room, and BJ soon came to the door. "Hey! What's up?" she asked.

"Oh... nothing. Just standing in your doorway, wondering if I'll get invited in..." I answered, rocking back and forth on my heels.

"Ha, ha, Corinne! Come on! Get in here!" she said. I heard Mrs. Carter yell from the kitchen, "BJ... who's at the door?" "It's just Corinne, mom!" she yelled back.

"Just Corinne?" I asked with a sly smile. BJ arched her eyebrows and gave me a look.

"Hey cool! Corinne's here?" a familiar voice said... I think it was AJ. "Great! Now I can torment her!" he finished. I heard several chairs pull out from the dinning room table. I rolled my eyes; "Great... leave it to AJ to embarrass me!!" I thought. It might have been six years ago... but I still remember the pranks he'd pull on me. With the help of Nick, of course! Those two were intolerable!

Five guys pilled out of the dinning room, stopping in the doorway. In the front it was Nick, and... AJ? He looked a lot different than the 15 yr. old I last remembered!!

"Whoa!! Corinne? No way!! Girl, you've changed!" AJ said looking me up and down, and walking up to me. Well of course! The last time he saw me, I was 11!! A lot can change in 6 years... especially when you're a teenager!!

"Yeah man... you too! What the heck did you do to yourself?!" I joked with him, examining the tattoos, jewelry, and bright haircolor. I heard the others laughing in the background.

"Hey... you like it?" AJ asked, posing for me.

"Uh..... No...!" I answered wickedly. He pouted a little. "I'm just kidding man!" I said, hugging him.

"Ahh, good! For a second there I thought you were serious!" he said.

"Well... I was.. but anyway... HI HOWIE!" I yelled, changing the subject.

"Hey!" AJ exclaimed, hurt. "Man.. if I didn't KNOW you, I'd think you were hot... but you just ruined it for me, there!" he concluded, walking away. The guys chuckled, as I rolled my eyes, grimacing at AJ's statement. Howie walked up and hugged me. "Hi Corinne... long time no see, huh?" he said.

"Hi Howie! It's good to see you again!" I said. "But what the heck is this? What's this stump on the back of your head?" I asked. All the guys roared with laughter.

"Hey!" Howie said, reaching for his ponytail. "This is very stylish now!" he said with a grin.

"Where? 'Planet of the Cling-on's'?" I asked jokingly. Howie laughed good natured; along with the others. "She got you good there, bro!" said an adorable boy I'd never seen before. His hair was almost a reddish-brown color, and he had an adorable accent.

"No... you know I'm only kidding, Howie!" I said. "I know, I know..." he said with that famous grin of his. "It's very stylish, hon!" I added.

"Corinne?" Nick spoke up. "I don't know if you remember Kevin or not..." he said, introducing Kevin.

Kevin stuck out his hand in a gesture to shake it, and I placed my own in his. "Yes... I remember you," I said, shaking his hand. " 'Disney-boy'! You worked as Aladdin!" I remarked. Kevin started laughing as he hung his head. Again, the others were rolling with laughter. "Hey... don't forget he was a Ninja Turtle, too!" Nick remarked.

Kevin blushed. "Yes, yes... that was ME!" he said, smiling.

"No offence... I'm just joking with you! I do that a lot," I said apologetically.

"That's OK," he said. "It's not like I don't already get it from these guys!" he finished, motioning towards the others. They were looking so innocent, as AJ twiddled his thumbs whistling, Nick started staring at the ceiling, the cuter one (I assume Brian) scratched the back of his neck, and Howie looked around the room with his hands in his pockets.

"What? Those innocent little darlings? Naw... they couldn't hurt a fly!" I said, looking at the guys. "I should know... I know Nick personally, and oh, the lovely things I could tell you about him!" I finished.

Nick snapped out of his daze and exclaimed, "Hey! Don't even start!"

"Why, Nicky?? Are you afraid I'll tell them about that time you..." I said before I was cut off.

"OK, OK!!! MERCY! Just don't say ANYTHING!!" Nick shouted. The guys chuckled.

"Well, it was nice meeting you again, Kevin," I said changing the subject and examining the beautiful green eyes staring back at me. "Likewise," Kevin replied.

"And Corinne, this is Brian," Nick said, finally introducing the cute country boy. Brian stepped forward and shook my hand.

"It's very nice to meet you, Corinne," he said with an adorable smile.

"Likewise," I said grinning. He had the most beautiful ocean blue eyes... you could almost get lost in them; and when he smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkled up. Basically, he was absolutely adorable, and I felt my heart melt instantly. "Um.. I've heard a lot about you from Nick," I continued. Brian must have been close with Nick, because Nick talked about him all the time.

"Uh-oh!" Brian chuckled. "What did he tell you?" he asked suspiciously.

"Oh... nothing bad... well... yet!" I said smiling. Brian laughed. "Yeah, well, when you get to know me, you'll find I'm a laid-back, immature, Jim-Carey-wannabe!" he said, once again grinning.

I laughed. "Oh... so is that you in a nutshell?" I asked. He stroked his chin as if he were in deep thought.

"Yeah... basically!" he finally concluded.

I could feel my face start to heat up. Brian was absolutely adorable, and I became discomposed rapidly. BJ caught this quickly, though, and immediately came to my rescue.

"Um... ok... enough bugging my friend. Come on, Corinne... let's go!" she said grabbing me and ripping my hand away from Brian's. She started dragging me up the stairs as I stumbled behind her.

"It was nice meeting you, Corinne!" Brian called after me, laughing quietly. I heard all the others yell "Bye!" as I tried to answer back.

"Bye guys!" I said, just before BJ slammed her bedroom door behind us. "Well, that was smooth!" I said sarcastically.
