Well, Although Shock Wave at Six Flags Great America was built and opened in 1988, at that time the internet was just not here... Lately I have went through my pictures and came across these great pictures of the construction of Shock Wave!!!! Seeing that the WWW was not opened to the public until 1990,, i figured that most coaster enthusiasts did not have pics of the construction of this great, world record (at the time) coaster.. So here they are!!! Enjoy!!! At this time I can not allow use of these pictures on other sites as I am tring to reach a certain amount of site hits..
