Survival!
These pages are written in my own words, citing many proven survival techniques from many sources. I did not simply "cut and paste" other people words. Below are a list of books I've read over the years, whose information was invaluable to accurately explain these survival techniques.
Wilderness Emergency -Gene Fear
National Outdoor Leadership School's Wilderness Guide -Peter Simer and John Sullivan
The US Armed Forces Survival Manual -US Dept. of Defense
Survival Training Edition -USAF
About Me:
Much of the last 15 years I have spent hiking, fishing, camping, and mountaineering in Virginia, including 3 years in Minnesota. Currently, I am an Airline Transport Pilot flying cargo in Minnesota and North Dakota. Before that, I flew under a contract with the Minnesota Dept. of Natural Resources throughout remote northern Minnesota conducting aerial wildfire control.
