Week of Feb 11th, 2001--UPDATE: Albeenia got out of the cage without me noticing on Thursday night...I  came home Friday morning to discover her missing and conducted a hunt for the next 3 hours because I knew my cat or the other cat here had taken her...I found her, laying there looking at me.  Her back legs weren't working!  She was paralyzed.  I brought her into the vet and received prednasone, an anti-inflammatory steroid.  Albeenia couldn't pee by herself so the vet showed me how to "help" her pee.  Also, I had to move her back legs to keep up muscle tone.  Saturday and Sunday she was looking fine still on the front end, eating and drinking.  Monday morning now she has turned for the worse.  Her breathing had increased rapidly around 2am Monday morning and now, nearly 3pm, she has become completely paralyzed.  She is going to die and I really feel bad about this.....I should have made sure everyone was in the cage before I left that night....I have not lost a rat to a cat for over 1 1/2 years!!!  I was going to keep Albeenia as my pet...

 Week of Feb 4th, 2001--This girl kick's butt with her personality!!  She is the smallest of all yet tries everything the others all do.  She would be the first to my hand but she is smaller (not as fast).  Please excuse her wierd looking facial hair, it will all go away and leave her totally nude.
