Welcome to my IBIA's
"Angel On Earth Award page"

Each month IBIA will be giving out an
"Angel on Earth Award" to a person who has
touched the lives of many ;
Thus, who is an honest to goodness Angel.
I have had various
nominees for this award and have decided
that we are all Angels! =0)*

The winner this month was nominated by
Kate (Catnapper). I want to give a great
thanks to her for pointing this "Angel on Earth" out to me. Connie's story has touched
my life as it has many others.

"A true Angel on Earth"

This months Angel on Earth Award winner is
Connie Statz. (Little One).
Connie is a survivor of long term AIDS from a blood
transfusion.
This is just one chapter in her journey through life that she lives here on earth.
In 1992 Connie was diagnosed with full blown AIDS.
The road has been a long and tough one for her and her family. She is the wife of Jim, and mother of two beautiful sons. Connie's younger son Nick, age 19, is in college
to become a registered nurse.
Nathan, her oldest son, age 23, has less
than a year left at Northwest University to become a
Chiropractor. Soon Connie and Jim will be celebrating their 25 wedding anniversary!

Connie has taken in this illness with ambition to live; and has given many the insight about HIV/AIDS.
Much at risk to her own health, she dedicated her time educating our youth. She spoke out to Churches,
schools and people in her community to share in this fight
to prevent the spread of diseases.
Connie has also served on the Hospice Board
for HIV/AIDS Services at St. Joseph's Medical Center
near her home town. Many times she
was called to speak before the medical profession.
she has also talked to students in cities surrounding her.
Due to this , many programs have
increased awareness and services available to people who would like to know more about this illness.
Family and friends continue to pray for
Connie and each day is a miracle that we are thankful
for.

Connie, You are a true Angel.
God has given you the gift of life, through him,
you are providing a service that is much needed in this world.
I hope that each day, no matter what happens,
brings you much closer to
the goal you have planed for your life.
With each challenge ahead, to
accept with a positive attitude, and the courage to carry on to
make this a lesson learned and not just an isolated event .
This is another step closer in the direction of
living your dreams.
Your courage is shown to us through daily events in your life. What may come up tomorrow will determine the next step for which you must begin preparation.
Visualize daily your goal and
confirm how it has made you what you are today.
Most importantly, enjoy the journey towards your goal.
You have purpose and direction. Realize each day that wherever you are along the path, fulfillment and joy is already yours.

THERE'S A PATH YOU WERE CHOSEN TO TAKE
THO IT SEEMS WHAT HE ASKS OF YOU IS TOO GREAT
LIFE HERE ON EARTH IS BUT A STEPPING STONE
HE'LL BE BY YOUR SIDE, YOU WON'T WALK IT ALONE
BE FAITHFUL TO HIM, HE IS THERE TO GUIDE YOU
HE PROMISED TO BE THERE ALL YOUR LIFE THROUGH
CALL UPON HIM WHEN YOU MAKE A WRONG TURN TRUST IN HIM AND YOU WILL LEARN
THERE'S A PATH YOU WERE CHOSEN TO TAKE
THE ROAD YOU TRAVEL MAY BE BUMPY AND ROUGH
THE TRIALS OF LIFE HAVE BEEN MORE THAN ENOUGH

THE MILES SEEM ENDLESS AS YOU SEARCH FOR THE LIGHT
THEY TWIST AND THEY TURN WITH NO END IN SIGHT
JUST REACH OUT YOUR HAND, HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE
HE WILL SET YOU FREE FROM YOUR PAIN AND DESPAIR
UP HILLS, THROUGH VALLEYS AND DESERTS SO DRY
DON'T QUESTION HIS WILL, DON'T ASK HIM WHY
THERE'S A PATH YOU WERE CHOSEN TO TAKE
YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY, YOU ARE TIRED AND WORN
YOUR BODY IS ACHING, YOUR SPIRIT FORLORN
DON'T GIVE UP NOW, YOU ARE SO CLOSE TO HOME
THE ROAD BECOMES SMOOTHER, NO MORE MILES TO ROAM
THANK HIM FOR ALL THE GOOD THINGS IN LIFE
WITH THAT YOU WILL FIND YOUR SPIRIT REVIVED
