Calypso's Story
Calypso Began...
The date was May 28, 1998. Jenny a.k.a Chyna and Chantele a.k.a Debra took the ride that changed their lives! The destination was Paramont Canada's Wonderland and the Ride was none other than Spinovator!
The Story Is This...
As Jenny and Chantele boarded Spinovator, Chantele
mis-read the name of the ride whereas she believed the name of the ride was Calypso. As the Ride Operator checked our seat belts, He overheard Chantele's mistake and sharply corrected her. As the ride began, Jenny and Chantele spinned in circle after circle. For an unknown reason, Jenny began screaming Calypso, Calypso, Calypso, over and over... Until, It happened!
What happened is this...
As Jenny continued to scream Calypso Calypso Calypso, the Ride Operator went over the loud speaker and said "SPINOVATOR" and from then on We had Calypso Power!
Calypso Update...
Since this incident, Chantele and Jenny have returned to Paramount Canada's Wonderland and have once again experienced the ride that started it all "Spinovator". The date was June 19, 1999 and this time we were joined by the third member of Calypso, Teresa a.k.a Stephaine!
