CONDUCTOR'S NOTES
These are notes the conductors have discussed. Please observe them in your practice sessions.

O CANADA

* Prounounce clearly - words like "Canada" and "Our"

SALUTATION

* Breathe every 4 mesures
* No break after "Fellowship"
* To have a more rounded (harmonious) final chord of this song, the notes in the     last measure will be changed to the following:
          All tenor 1 sing the high "A"
          All tenor 2 sing a high "F" (above the written "C")
          All baritones sing "C" (above the written "A")
          All basses sign as written

PRETTY LITTLE HORSES

* Learn the notes carefully, especially the downward scale passages
* Breathe every 4 measures

LORDLORD FILL THE FLOWING BOWL

* Pronunciation of "Wassail:" ... Wah-sale
* Measure 51 - slow down - steady beat here
* Conduct the slow part in 4

BROTHERS SING ON

* Observe dynamics carefully
* Sing staccato notes very detached
* Watch carefully

HEAVEN

* Page 12 - slow it down a bit at top of page

SHEPHERD'S PSALM

RIVER IN JUDEA

* All voices sing at beginning in unison
* Measure - sing "A" natural - not "A"Sharp
* Acapella at measure 69
* Observe breathe mark - 1st measure top of page 9
* Not strict time - watch.

THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM

* Pages 4 & 5 - all voices in unison
* Crescendos take place during the long notes
* Breathe every 4 measures
* Measure 24 - not too much "Ad Lib" here, keep it moving
* Measure 36 - start the ritardando here - watch
* Page 10 - cut off after word ready
* Hold starts 2 measures - watch

COME SING THIS ROUND WITH ME

*Middle voice sung by baritones or tenor 2's

WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN

* I have nothing specific yet - the obvious thing is watch and be prepared for the         various tempos and the "Freely" section.
