THAT FIRST GLANCE
That first glance as I saw you standing there
My mind drew a blank and then I thought
If Shakespeare were here today,
he could not have written anything
as beautiful as the way you look tonight
My eyes, staring in such awe
I envisioned you were an angel
sent from the gods above
Light had conquered darkness as
your beauty shines through my heart
And as I walked towards you wanting to
express my feelings for you
My body froze
For each word that came into my mind,
each word that fell upon my tongue
could not do you justice
The only thing honorable enough to do you justice
Was to just stand back and admire your beauty
from that first glance

THE GODDESS AND HER SHIELD
As I lay under the moonlit sky
I look up at the stars
And think about all the gods and goddesses up there
And I think to myself, one got away, you
The power you possess is far greater then the gods above, love
Your heart is your weakness
Beauty is your weapon and I am your shield
I will protect your heart and keep you safe
And the power of love will keep us together
For eternity

I WONDER
As we take a stroll along the beach
Leaving our footprints in the sand
Lost in each others eyes
Melting in each others hands
I wonder what you're thinking
Are your thoughts as pure and true
Does your heart beat fast when you think of me
Like my heart beats fast for you
Can you feel my love when I kiss your lips
And every moment that we share
Do you feel the passion burning deep with desire
Letting you know how much I care
Do you hear the voices calling out your name
In every breath I breathe for you
And the warm sensation of my soul
wanting to be so close to you
Well as we stroll along this beach
Leaving our footprints in the sand
Only you will know how you feel for me
Eye to eye and hand to hand

NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU
As I sit back at the end of the dock with
my feet situated in the calm cool water
watching a flock of birds sail by as the
sun slowly rises in the backround I realize,
nothing compares to the beauty I see
when I look into your eyes.
As I lay myself down to sleep in a bed
of roses five feet deep I realize,
nothing compares to the softness I feel
when I hold your warm gentle body in my arms.
As the bullets race through the air
suddenly breaking into my skin piercing
every inch of my heart I realize,
nothing compares to the pain I feel
when you're not by my side.

There's only one thing more beautiful by far
Then being in a dark open field and staring at the stars
That's waking up on a beach to an early morning sunrise
Beside you and staring into your eyes
There's only one smell more beautiful than
the smell of a rose in full bloom
That's the smell of your love as you enter a crowded room
There's only one sound more beautiful than
listening to the wedding bells chime
That's the beat of your heart anxious to be mine
There's nothing more special then wanting to be with you

When I'm near you
You make my heart flutter
When you hold me in your arms
I just melt like butter
When I look into your eyes
I'm out in deep space nine
When I'm alone with you
You make me feel so fine
Then I wake up
All the while I was thinking of you,
it was only in a dream
So I close my eyes so I can get back to
The vision of dreams of loving you
