Welcome to Siberia!!!
In Siberia in winter, anybody
may rush at you in the street and begin rubbing snow into your face vigorously.
It means that you're developing white frostbite patches on your cheeks
and nose, this simple measure helps at once. They don't say anything -
who wants to talk when it's freezing cold?! Imagine how confusing it is
for a visitor! The temperatures here swing from 0C to -37, sometimes during
just one or two days; the winter starts in October and continues till April
or even May. Summer is very hot, in July it's +35C. There are many difficult
situations due to the climate, and any child knows what to do in the most
typical cases.
