MST 3000 episodes, year 0 to year 7

Season 0 was seen only on one tv station, in the city where Mary Tyler Moore was going to make it if she could make it anywhere.

Season 0

The Green Slime (1968)
A half-hour pilot featuring only a portion of the movie and some simple host segments; it was never aired. A primitive door sequence and what appears to be the opening host segment is featured in the MST3K Scrapbook tape available from Best Brains (see their website, last updated in the latter part of the 1990s)
For descriptions of the host segments of each episode, check out mst3kinfo.com
If a movie's description is available, you will be able to click the title.

***** Season 7 *****

Season 7 started rather fitfully amid rumors that the series would or had been cancelled. Also, time was being spent producing a big-screen version of the show (see below), which premiered just one month before the last episode of season 7 and cancellation by Comedy Central. The first episode was rushed onto the air in time for Thanksgiving week, complete with Thanksgiving host segments. Later, perhaps with an eye toward reruns, the same movie became the first ep of the season with all-new host segments replacing the Thanksgiving ones, and new jokes during the movie

703- DEATHSTALKER AND THE WARRIORS FROM HELL
First shown: 2/17/96
704- THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN
First shown: 2/24/96
705- ESCAPE 2000
First shown: 3/2/96
706- LASERBLAST
First shown: 5/18/96, Note: this was not only the last ep on Comedy Central, it is significant in that it was a big-budget (relatively recent) Hollywood movie, and that Mike & the bots were merciless on Leonard Maltin's good review of it. Later, Maltin would join them for the host segment in the Sci-Fi channel series (of a movie that Leonard really likes but almost no one else does)
MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: THE MOVIE "THIS ISLAND EARTH"
First seen in theaters: 4/19/96, This one has never been seen on either Comedy Central or the Sci-Fi channel, though it was shown on HBO or Showtime a while back.
The episode, which is less than 90 minutes long including the host segments and the movie, starts with a strange pounding sound. It seems one of the bots is in the spaceship's basement & is trying to dig a tunnel to Earth...
