Joshua Scott Chasez's Hair Now, JC Chasez has probably been one of the lower key members of *NSYNC. He doesn't seem to like too much attention, so now I pose one simple question: WHY HAVE THE DAMN HAIR? It's extremely flamboyant, and totally draws attention to itself.
In this column, I am going to take you through a long line of hair styles that Joshua Scott Chasez has been through. And let us never forget he is my favorite *NSYNCer, so I am able to be extremely harsh.
First, we start off with old school JC, back to the MMC days:
Circa 1993
Here we have a classic undercut. In my immense JC Chasez picture collection I could not locate any "Wipeout-esque" pictures. JC had the best hair there. This is one of my favorite looks, I love hair you can run your fingers through. Although he could have used a brush more often, it's okay at least it wasn't parted to the side with a perm that was brushed out by his mother (aka Justin's MMC style of choice).
Next we move into the *NSYNC days:
"Here We Go" Video 1997
and the "HAIL CAESAR" cut. JC was really going for the Hilter look which he dons later in his career by attitude and not style. He is doing his monkey impersonation in that picture above and is thinking, "Why did I get really drunk and allow Lance to cut my hair to save money?" Other members of *NSYNC ask this same question later in their career.
Ahh...Classic JC, during the Lou Perlman Lawsuit:
November 1999
He was still a clean cut kid. No facial hair, and no crazy hair. This is such a classic look for him. He was a little sporty, but that's okay. I still like this look throughly.
NO STRINGS ATTACHED
January 2000
This is the Hitler-esque attitude in which i was referring to before. Look at his face, he looks like he is about to kill some people just for not
having his mad skillz. But i like the black spikey hair he has going on here, it definitely works for him.
Humina Humina
"IGBM" Video May 2000
Videos like this make me want to love him. Look at the hair, it's lighter than it has been in the past, but it still has the finesse that it has possessed from the finer points in its career. This picture it is hard to tell but, yes you can tell that he has the most beautiful hair to date.
Interlude, JC's hair stays pretty much the same for the rest of 2000. Then all of a sudden, 2001 hits and something strange happens to him, and I'm not in the least complaining.
Larry King High:
January 9, 2001
What happened to the blackness that was his hair? I don't know and I don't care, I absolutely love this style. It has height, it has depth, it screams JC Chasez. Although I have to admit that he looks like an avante guarde artist there is nothing wrong with it, and i love how the goatee I guess you'd call it works with it.
Rocking It Old School Style
March 2001
I mean that literally as well, he looks like he stepped out of I'm not sure, the
it is reminscant of the early JC days. Maybe even early 2000, just a little lighter.
Although he looks like he should be an episode of "The Dukes of Hazzard."
Chin Strip...
May 10, 2001
Here, his hair looks like Devin Lima of LFO's hair. And the chin strip is in full effect, i love it. the hair looks like it has nothing in it, and it hasn't even been blow dried. it has the, "i woke up 15 minutes ago and came here" look. oh how we love it.
It doesn't look like her mom's...
May 2001
My friend swears that his hair looks like her mom's, but it does, I fight with her just so i can uphold my man's honour. But yeah, he has a women's hair cut. It's nice though, and his hair is banging in the whole video. The way he dances and it moves around takes me back to the days of MMC.
So this is where JC left us off, and the year is only half over, I wonder if he will surprise us with anymore crazy hair stylin', let's wait to find out.
