The Chinese Government have come up with a perfect solution to the Y2K problem as it affects the Government run China Airlines. They have ordered all the top managers of the airline to be on flights that are in the air at midnight on the last day of 1999! Seems to me to be a pretty good way to deal with the problem!

Actually, they have more of a problem than we do in North America because 90% of the software used in China is pirated, so they cannot go to the manufacturers and ask for help fixing any Y2K bugs in the programs.
