We had a BROWN CHRISTMAS but we had a WHITE NEW YEARS in 2007
The snow was really pretty and set the barn off quite nicely
The sunrise this morning was beautiful as I was doing chores. Hopefully the saying "RED SKY IN MORNING, SAILORS WARNING" doesn't apply to the weather later today!
In preparation for planting, my neighbor & friend Rick was up here and got the patch disced and looking good so it would be ready to plant after June 1st.
Due to wet weather and a variety of things, we didn't get the crop in until today, June 10, 2007. Justin, Rick's son and the guy who stays at the farm when I'm out traveling, came to help this year as he wanted his chance at driving the PUMPKIN TRACTOR and doing the planting...and WHAT A GREAT JOB HE DID!
