THE WEATHER REALLY TURNED NICE TODAY AND SO A BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY TO ENJOY THE PUMPKIN PATCH AND ALL THE GAMES AND ANIMALS...

THE THURSDAY AFTERNOON PRESCHOOL BUILDING BLOCKS CLASSES visited the Patch today. There were about 40 students with their teachers, Moms and Dads. It sure was fun seeing each and every pumpkin they discovered out in the patch! It wasn't easy getting the kids above & below together in the RIGHT GROUP as they were pretty excited about just having FUN!

After school, the Girl Scout Troop #79 from Austin with Anne K visited the Patch and it looked like these girls really had fun too--and by the time they got here, the SUN WAS SHINING and a beautiful fall afternoon!

Another visitor today was Chandler A who hadn't been here for a few years. The GREAT part of all this is he is standing beside the sign he and his Mom Linda painted for the Patch about 11 or 12 years ago! As we tried to remember the exact date, he remembered coming out before he had his drivers license and now he's driving his Expedition out here--so it's been awhile! After checking out the WELCOMING SIGN, he wanted to find the ugliest pumpkins in the patch--and he got a couple that really fit the bill! The sign he and his Mom made sure has brought smiles and the backdrop for FANTASTIC PICTURES to 100s who come to the patch each year AND IT STILL LOOKS LIKE NEW!

At the end of the day, we can tell the kids had FUN because the Patch and Gameland area definitely looked USED! But that's the fun of it all as it all picks up quick and soon ready for tomorrows visitors!

Even BABE is looking over the fence to see where everyone is. If anyone is around, EWE could hear him saying,
"COULD EWE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME PUMPKIN FOR A SNACK!"
