11/1/2001: Islands of Peace (Fridley)

Join the hiking group for a hike around Anoka County's Islands of Peace park.

If driving: From I-694, take East River Road north to Charles Street. Turn left (west) on Charles, proceed to the end of Charles and turn left onto Anna Ave. There is a visitor center and parking lot with a trail that leads down to the river.

If coming by public transit: Take Metro Transit route(s): 827; 852. The closest bus service point appears to be the corner of Charles Street and East River Road. Applicable Metro Transit Map / Bus Schedule information
