8/3: Terrace Oaks Park (Burnsville)

Join the hiking group for a hike around the varied terrain of the Terrace Oaks Park in Burnsville. The park is on rolling portion of the city and was once considered for development as a golf course..

From Minneapolis:

Take I-35W or Cedar Avenue south across the Minnesota River and exit to MN Highway 13. Take Highway 13 (east from I-35W or west from Cedar Avemue) to County Highway 11 and proceed south on County Highway 11. Midway between Burnsville Parkway and 130th Street East is the entrance to the park, on the east side of the Highway. Meet in the parking lot for the park.

From St. Paul:

Take I-35E across the Mississippi River and exit to MN Highway 13. Take Highway 13 west to County Highway 11 and proceed south on County Highway 11. Midway between Burnsville Parkway and 130th Street East is the entrance to the park, on the east side of the Highway. Meet in the parking lot for the park.

The group will recovene at a nearby restaurant for dessert or dinner afterwards.
