What is the W.T.W.?
The W.T.W., which stands for "We Try Wrestling", is a wrestling organizations started by a group of wrestle crazy teenagers in Minnesota, ranging from 15-18 in age. This group of teenagers are my friends and me. We always watch wrestling on T.V. and wrestle each other, but then we finally decided to start an organization. We had our first event, "Wrestlefest '98", on the last day of school on June 3rd 1998. We scheduled actual matches and laid out mattresses and stuff to roll around on. Now our rules are the professional wrestling rules, not highschool wrestling rules. That's why the W.T.W. is such a pleasure to be a part of! Because what you see on T.V. you actually get to act out! As the days passed and the W.T.W. had more and more events, our wrestling has gotten a little more in depth. When we first started out, all we had were mattresses and cushions, but as time has passed, we've added a ring (composed of wood posts and cables for ropes), entry music, an entry way, an announcer, and we have made up our own wrestling personas and patented moves. Altogether, the W.T.W. is a professional wrestling style wrestling organization created for teens ready to have a great time!...and a few bumps and bruises to match!
