I (Sal) grew-up playing golf in the living room of my house I lived in St. Paul. My dad creatively would use our heating vents as a "home-made" hole where we would all take turns putting. I think we started this idea after watching "Price is Right" when they had the "Hole in One" game for their contestants. During the summer seasons, my dad would take us to the driving range in Maplewood. I would test my driving skills strength by hitting the golf ball as far as I can.
Just yesterday (Friday, December 10th of 2004), I went indoor golfing at Bunkers Hills Indoor Golf Center (information/directions) in West St. Paul, MN. I felt like a kid again as I golfed for 2 hours with friends.
"Sometimes those of us in the church tend to do the same things over and over again because they've worked in the past. The author of this book served as a church leader and pastor for over 40 years and was always looking for new ideas for reaching out to the community and world to make a difference. It's true that what works in one community may not work in another; what excites some people may not inspire others. This Ebook is provided hoping it will spark new, fun and effective ways for your church to reach out to a hurting world."
