This is a book for children who are stricken with cancer, leukemia, aids or other diseases who know they are terminally ill. As parents we don't always know what to say to our children when they ask the question "Mommy, what happens when we die"? or "Where do we go when we die"?. My book is a bit on the primative side in looks, as I bind them myself and hand copy each book individually. But it is a book that children will feel comfortable with to hold and read.
The story is about a little girl named Tara, who gets cancer. Her mother does all the right things, and searches for answers, but still Tara, is too afraid to ask her about what it is like to die. A friend comes over for a vist and explains to Tara, how we are now like the catepillar in his cocoon, his own beautiful secure world, and he doesn't want to leave, but when his life ends and he breaks out of his old world, he enters a new world with beautiful wings and explores this world in another dimension. The story ends, with Tara feeling comfortable knowing what lies ahead, and falling sleep one night as her angels came to bring her to her new world.
It is a gentle story providing answers for parents and children who wonder what happens when we die. I have been driven to write this book by the angels. As you can read on my "Barrys Gift" site, which is a true story of proof that we do go on. We do not die, we just continue on. Only our body like shells remain here. Our soul/spirit continues on and all the love it holds.
