(Luke 8.43-44)
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that power is gone out of me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath healed thee; go in peace.
As you may have read on my other pages, I was born with the gift of healing energies in my hands. How did I know this, well, I didn't at the time actually. I just remember, that when someone was ill or an animal was dying, I had a really strong inner desire to put my hands on them, and in my mind, knew that it would help them to heal. I would walk around in shopping malls and want to touch people or hug someone in a wheel chair. I never saw these people again, so I had no clue if any of them had healed or not.
As I grew older, and got married and had my children, I thought perhaps well, its a mothers touch that I had all along. And to a point, there is nothing like a mothers touch. If you think about when you were a little child and you got hurt, the first thing you wanted was to be in your mothers arms, for her to kiss your boo boo and make it better. Remember how just her company had helped you feel so much better. How she took away your fear along with your tears. This was the healing touch that God gave to our mothers and sometimes to our fathers. There are men out there that do have the compassion and the mother like instincts with their children.
I believe we all have the power to heal within ourselves. I believe we all can learn how to access that power and help not only ourselves but each other to heal. But two important things, the magic to it all, is you must have faith in our Creator, and much love and compassion in your heart for others. Only then can you become that vessel for God to work through.
When I lay my hands on a person who is sick, for instance a cancer patient, they feel alot of heat and sometimes tingling vibrations in the area affected. So far I have been 99 % successful in my healings. Sometimes people come to me with back pain or other ailments that doctors can't seem to cure, or fix. I help them with this too. One of my cancer patients went into remission, her tumor markers went from 900 down to 230 or so and her doctors told her it was a miracle as she was at the end of stage 4, with only a month or so to live. She no longer had back pain from the liver cancer,and was able to go home to her children and actually laugh and play with them.
I also teach my students young and old how to heal with their hands. I am a Certified Reiki Master of Intuitive Therapy. I do not use the traditional Reiki hand placements. I am guided by listening to my inner self and my guides. When I do this healing, I am also in deep prayer and listening to what I am being guided to touch, heal and do. I also ask for a message at the end of the healing to give to the patient, be it something they will recognize, a symbol or sign to help them to continue their healing path. This modality is non invasive and can be used at any time, by anyone, and will not interfere with any medications or lifestyles you have or are on.
Even though it is called hands on healing, you are actually healing through compassion and love. Love of spirit, love of God, and love for each other. Studies have shown that spirits in human bodies need to be touched. Bodies respond to touch. Think about when someone hugs you. Do you get chills, tingles, a warm fuzzy feeling? Does it make your body relax, releasing tension, making you smile or happy inside? Premature babies in hospitals were included in a "touch response" study. The babies that were allowed to be held and touched grew and survived at a greater rate than ones that weren't handled so much. You can tell a well hugged and loved child, vs one who doesn't recieve many hugs. People die of lonliness, the quietness within, and they die for lack of touch, relationship. Business men go on seminars that teach them that if they make contact, by just placing their hand upon their clients arm, makes them feel more important, personalized.
Hands are so very healing. They can write words of comfort, or words of love to fill ones heart. They can doctor people, and mend hearts. So why can't they heal people in other ways. Hospitals now are teaching their nurses and aids, theraputic touch, or hands on healing to apply to their patients. Apparently somehow this technique of natural medicine is some how finding its way into the medical world of doctors and surgeons.
In the high school I was teaching at, I was filling in for the class and had no scheduled plan to follow. These were tough guys or so they tried to make their appearance. We somehow got to talking, and I introduced them to the energy within our hands. I showed them what this energy felt like and how they can access it. They were simply amazed. They sat there for two days playing with this energy field they found. It's a shame things like this aren't taught in school. If only everyone knew their powers, their potential.
Just imagine, the energy within your hands, throughout your body being harnessed, the power of prayer in your heart, and the belief of miracles from our Creator all rolled into one. Now place them upon a sick person, you would be amazed the results. Everyone has the energy, everyone can say a prayer, but to help someone to heal, you must be pure in body, mind and spirit and open yourself totally to the Creator and allow him to work through you, surrendering your soul to him and the universe. When a true healing takes place here, it is felt and it is so beautiful, I cry for that healing, tears fall as I see and feel what is going on in that healing. Much prayer is said before, after and during. This is why some people say, healers are fake, you have to pour yourself into that healing for it to work, many don't. They feel the heat, the tingling, they may see a vision, but if the love, that pure strong surrendering of ones soul love isn't there, chances are the healing will not take place. Be careful who you choose to help you or your loved one. Always question your doubts. A true healer will help you and teach you along the way.
