Puafua Disses Eddie Mac

Eddie Mac and we played a show in Duluth one night, and we all decided that we would play first and Eddie Mac would play second. The crowd that night was sparce and not really into either of our bands, and what made it seem worse was that we played in the larger of the two theaters in the Nor Shor, so the place looked pretty dead. Most of the people there followed the DJ (who really sucked) upstairs, so you know what kind of crowd I'm talking about.

We all decided that this was going to have to be one night we would miss seeing Eddie Mac, since some of the guys had to get up early the next morning and we had all come in one van. So after our set we packed up, gave the Eddie Mac guys our most heart-felt appologies for leaving early, and put all our stuff in the trailor.

As we were packing up, Pete (now our new bass player) came out of the Nor Shor and told us he was making dinner for the band. We all debated and decided we were hungry, and why pass up some good ol' home cookin'?

After dinner we headed out and got on the road. About 20 miles past Cloque a red mini-van passed our old gas-guzzler, and as it pulled up along side us, there were the Eddie Mac guys waiving at us from the passing lane. We felt bad, but hey: home cookin'.
