I haven't known Pete for very long, but one thing I've learned about him is he is diligent. Pete will take a lot of extra time to make sure he's got the tunes down perfectly between jams -- and it shows. A week after we introduce a new tune, Pete's got a nice bass line all ready to go.
If you've been to any recent Puafua shows, you've probably seen him sitting in on a tune or two. And if you have, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. If you didn't notice the difference, then his diligence paid off and he did his job well.
