 60 S. 6th St. - 539 feet - 40 floors - 1989

The Dain tower is the only big building downtown that chooses to fit into its surroundings.  It looks a bit awkward when viewed at its narrowest angle, with a flat wall on the east side and setbacks on the west.   Other than that, it is a good, handsome structure.

The loading dock is surprisingly dirty for a newer building.  It features a gigantic lazy Susan that is used to turn entire semi trucks.

Fore some reason, architects seem to think that a single service elevator is adequate for a 40 story tower.  Believe me, they are wrong.
