We, the devoted Hanson fans, are asking that you please play "This Time
Around" by Hanson. This song has so far been a great hit on MTV and other
radio stations.
In fact, This Time Around (TTA) has been on MTV's Top 20, and is holding the
#1 spot on that countdown (for the week of March 15) (see
http://www.mtv.com/sendme.tin?page=/mtv/music/top20/).
They are above such
artists as Hoku, Third Eye Blind, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna. Also,
"This Time Around" was the highest debut on Casey Kasem's top 40,
debuting
at #36. The song currently holds the #30 spot on Casey's countdown, and the #32
spot on Rick Dees' countdown. MTV had Hanson as a guest on TRL on Friday, March 31, and many, many
fans were there. This Time Around is also the third most played video on MTV. Hanson is no longer the Bubblegum-Pop band that people love
to hate. Their sound has grown along with them, and it is now a more
rock/blues sound. We've waited nearly 3 years for this new music, and it
would be great if you would play it and give them a chance.
