The Eye Of Harmony
Stories and links to more of the same
By John Seavey
Well, change comes to all of us...and finally, it's come to my website.
I've changed ISPs, and I decided to use the time to overhaul the website,
and to use it to reflect the changes in my life...so, you'll probably notice,
the website is now divided up differently. Rest assured, though, I intend
to keep it just as up to date as ever (I can hear the derisive snickers
from here, people.)
For those of you visiting this site for the first time, my name
is John Seavey, and I'm a writer. I write things. They get put up here.
This site is about my writings, which is why I haven't bothered with fancy
things like frames or tables. The idea is to focus on the words, not the
formats.
The New Categories:
-
Biography: I find it difficult to believe that anyone
would actually care about my life, but if you really want to know, there's
a brief bio here. It's not that exciting, though. If I had an exciting
life, I wouldn't be a writer.
-
Bibliography: Now that I'm actually getting published
in print format as well, I decided to put in a space that lists my published
works. They're not that many, but those of you who care can now track down
the entire John Seavey output.
-
Original Fiction: This is the space where
any of my solo fiction can be found, including the internationally acclaimed
"Dark Solitaire". (Well, someone from Australia told me they read it on
a train and thought it was quite good...)
-
Collaborations: This is the space for all
of the works I've been a contributor to, including the round-robins I've
wirtten for and moderated.
-
Original
Non-Fiction: This is something new--I'm going to be attempting to keep
my hand in writing by contributing at least one piece a week here, so this
should be the spot that gets updated most frequently. I hope.
-
Links: At some point, this will contain interesting links, but for now,
it's going to stay blank while I clear up the linkrot from my old webpage
and find new stuff to show off for you.
-
Updates: I've never had to include an area for
updates before, because the site has been updated so rarely in the past.
But now that I'm actually working on it on a regular basis, I have included
an area for updates to the site.
And, as always, if you want to send me a message, whether it be to berate
me, praise me, discuss Doctor Who with me, or just point out interesting
links I've missed, email me.
Feedback is the most important thing a writer can receive, and it's always
nice to know that this site isn't just sitting in a void.
