Welcome to a page just full of Rottweiler stuff. Here you will find lots of information and other tidbits of personal stuff. We are just two people who happened to fall in love with the intriguing and intelligent Rottweiler. Hopefully, we can help clear up any misconceptions and fallacies concerning this beautiful animal. Most people don't even realize that Rotts are better with children than Dalmations. Imagine "101 Tempermental Dogs!" What a thought, huh? Rottweilers were bred originally as herding dogs. Since then, they have been used as guard dogs and pets. Many people have a fear of them brought on by stories of mauling, etc. Fact is, ANY animal can turn into a mauling beast. Everything depends on the animal and behavior taught by the one who trains him.
Personally, my mother was afraid of mine for the typical reasons until I surprised her on one of her many visits, by letting him in and checking her out. He was only a 120lb. baby! Since then, I have had to, regrettably give him to a friend. Where I live prohibits any animal over 20lbs. I get to see him whenever I want, though.
Anyway, this could go on and on. We are Tania and Steve. We are good friends who share the love for these wonderful dogs and hope everyone who visits will learn about and respect them as we do.
