FORMAT II: WITHOUT COMMON RECITATION OF LAUDS

Morning prayer begins with the Angelus, which is recited aloud. On Saturday evening and all day Sunday this is recited while standing. It is omitted, however, from the evening Mass of the Lord's Support on Holy Thursday until after the Vigil Mass of Holy Saturday. And during the entire Easter Season the anthem "Queen of Heaven" is recited standing.

The hebdomadary begins the Angelus or the "Queen of Heaven" on a sign from the Superior.

(a)

Heb.: The Angel of the Lord, etc. (See Format I)

(b)

Heb.: Queen of heaven, etc. etc. (See Format I)

If they have been standing, all kneel and say the following prayers to ask God's blessing on the coming day...
