Make sure that when
you type in the subject of your strat, you do it EXACTLY like this: "[Strat]

[ 2. MATCH
OVERVIEW / ANGLING]
A match overviewis basically any information
the writer needs to know. Such as the
past between the wresters in the match. This will also include any sort of angling or
storylines between the wrestlers. Try to explain
in detail
[ 3. MATCH STRATEGY ]
Please write this section out in three parts. I
want to know what you are doing in the beginning, the middle, and the end of the match.
For example, you might start out wrestling, goto brawling, then just plain cheating.
Coordinate this with your spots.
[ 4. MOVES ]
Under moves you list 10-20 wrestling moves
your wrestler will do to help him win this match. Please include moves that show your
wrestling style. So we don’t have you doing things that aren’t you, such as high flying or
brawling if that is not your thing.
[ 5. RING ENTRANCE]
Right here,
you create a ring entrance using the event's commentators (James Edgebrook(play by
play) and Mike Timmons (color)). You must
put it in a form in which we can copy/paste it onto the card. I’m trying to get away from
the song lyrics being in the enterences. Is OK for a little bit, but try to limit it
please.
[ 6. AFTER MATCH ]
This will include what your wrestler will do
after the match if he wins, after the match
if he loses, and after the match if it's a draw.
[ 7. INTERVIEWS ]
Under this subject you should put any sort of
interviews your wrestler has prior or after
his match. It could be in the locker room, in the ring, in the crowd, taped earlier in
the day, whatever.
[ 8. SNEAK ATTACKS ]
If you were going to sneak attack another
wrestler, you would include it here. You
must make it in copy/paste form including the names of the
commentators. This again could be during a match, in the locker room, or taped
earlier.
[ 9. SPOTS ]
This is probably the most important part in a
strat. Spots are used for you
to get your wrestler to do certain actions, like moves, or brawling. In spots you
must also abide by the copy/paste law. As usual you
use the commentators names, and make sure the writer can copy/paste it onto the
match. Spots mean a lot in your strat. You may have
anywhere from 2-10 spots. If you want an example of a spot. Go read a previous card.
Any part of the match could have been a spot sent in as a strat. You are simply writing a
section of your own match. This also helps the writers
tremendously.
[ 10. Storylines/Fueds/Match Request/OOC]
This is to keep the staff informed of anything you have brewing that may be important that we don't already know about. A suggested match request for the next card also helps us put togeather a better card. And of coarse any other OOC remarks that you may have.
Remember... Send your strats to wrestlingcompany@yahoo.com
