#1 - C.J. ROWELL [1/4/09 to 3/29/09]
Rowell was a last minute entrant to the Scramble Six to determine the first PPW Heavyweight Champion, which was thought to have been won by Demetrius Burrell until PPW President Derek Shanahan made the impromptu change up.

#2 - DEMETRIUS BURRELL [3/29/09 to 6/21/09]
After losing to Rowell immediately after the Scramble Six, Burrell didn't waste any time and kept his sights trained on Rowell. Eventually their conflict forced a rematch for the championship that Burrell thought he had won nearly three months prior.

#3 - JAKE ROCKWELL [6/21/09 to CURRENT]
Wrestling legend Jake Rockwell made his return to the ring after several years and immediately painted a target on Demetrius Burrell's back. Rockwell chased Burrell, while along the way taking victories over top contenders, until he cornered Burrell at Validation where he became champion.
