Gillian is dressed in an authentic Edwardian costume. Her jacket and skirt are made from gold and cream striped pure silk, trimmed with ecru lace and gold silk ribbons. Her lace shirt has tiny pearl buttons down the front and at cuffs. Under her skirt, she wears a cotton and lace petticoat. Her period boots are black with golden buttons. Her hair is a rich auburn, worn in a Gibson Girl bun, secured with pearl pins, topped with a luxurious hat, dripping in ribbon and feathers. She holds a matching parasol, which is not glued to her hand and does not open. She stands on her own without the aid of a dollstand. She is 5 1/2" tall and is made from porcelain, her features china painted and kiln fired 5 times. Her blue eyes have a realistic depth, which didn't come through in the photos. She is a gorgeous and elegant lady, which will bring any room to life.
