The Hardware Store building was built in October of 1897. It was for most of its life a hardware store. First it was Hanson and Grunnet, then Hanson and Larson, then Larson Hardware, AgriFleet, Stewart OK Hardware, then Stewart Trustworthy Hardware owned by Orville Tessmer. It became a grocery-hardware store for a few years before going under not too long ago. It was remodeled and connected to the neighboring John Deere Dealer (Also owned by the Larson Family) by Ralph Larson in 1945 to its current appearance.
