  • " 61 International Students are finding out about their University and the City it belongs to, in a three day immersion into community service.
Argie Manolis is the coordinator of the Office of Student Engagement at the University of Minnesota, Morris. She says the projects vary from picking potatoes at a local farm to folding 1000 paper cranes for an arts center.
Tonight the students will say goodbye to their 5 volunteer posts leaving behind the fruits of their industry and taking with them U.M.M.'s mission of community service, and hopefully friendly faces to say hello to as their year alone in a new country progresses.
