I know a lady in town who just moved here from the Dominican Republic with her "American" husband. I was just asked about getting some children books in Spanish, so I decided to do a site on this nation. I've been meaning to do one since my local church went as a team on a mission trip one year.

Instead, he says, “My advice for young Christian fans and people who are not saved is, if you don’t know [Christ], get to know Him before it’s too late. For those who know Him, keep your eyes on the Lord because there are so many temptations out there and traps that [Satan] will set for us. Walking with the Lord and having Him in our hearts — those are the things that are never going to fail.”
Pujols knows that God has given him incredible ability, and he’s quick to point out that he knows what he is supposed to do with it.
“The Lord gave me this talent and ability to be in this position, but this is not my [main] job,” Pujols says. “My job is to go out and to share about what God has done in my life to the whole world. If I can’t play tomorrow, I’m going to keep following my main thing because that’s what I believe. This is just a platform that the Lord has given me so I can get to know people and reach people.”

Thank you for the bulletin. The dates for the Dominican Republic mission trip with YWAM are March 24-April 2. More info on the trip: We will be working in a village called Mata de Limon. Carol Stephens is one of YWAM's church planters in this small mountain village. Carol is 60 or so and she is working with another YWAMer, Silvia Brunner, from Switzerland. Carol has a heart for the widows and orphans in her area and the week prior to our arrival will be launching a new ministry with them. The other part of our ministry time will be spent with JanČ and Antonio in a nearby village. I do not know what we will be doing with them.
