An oft-featured artist, Carol Lu, goes a bit crazy in the ode department on a late night.

you’re like a mother hen
sometimes i love you
but other times you go moo
you have a loud voice
and you can make a choice
you’re so white
sometimes i want to fight
but then i realize i can only fly a kite
even with all my might

you’re husband’s in the den
go get him a beer
or else he’ll sneer
well now it’s the end
i hope you don’t bend

but not at debate
