- 12 teams organized to form "A League Of Our Own"
- Franchises Established: Flashers, Bulldogs, Hogs n Braves, Fielders of Dreams, Showboats,
Say It Ain't So, Baylor Bears, Jack's Kids, The Barbies, Cubby Blue,
Knights, and Flying Pigs.
1998
- 5 teams fold due to lack of funding, poor attendance, and mediocre play:
Knights, Flying Pigs, Baylor Bears, Flashers, and The Barbies.
- 5 expansion teams inducted into league: The Dodgers, Diamond Kings,
Assassins, Rock'em, AZ D-Backs.
- "Say It Ain't So," team name, changed to "Axis."
- "Hogs n Braves," team name, changed to "Hogs."
- League name changed to "Holy Cow."
1999
- 2 teams fold due to financial constraints and owner apathy: Axis and Rock'em.
- 2 expansion teams inducted into league: T-Rays and BallBusters.
2000
- 2 teams fold due to financial constraints and owner apathy: Fielders of Dreams and Jack's Kids.
- 2 expansion teams inducted into league: Rock'em and Men of Steel.
