Chapter 4

Taylor woke up in the morning just at the same time as Summer and Melinda. All three of them ran to the bathroom at the same time, but stopped in their tracks as each one burst out laughing at the other.

"Um, Taylor you have a mustache drawn on your face," Summer managed to choke out in between giggles.

"You both do too," he exclaimed in response as Desiree pushed him out of the way, "Hey what was that for?"

Desiree gave him a death glare, "As if you don't know! You're the one that put this ink all over my face, huh? Just cause you don't like me, well thanks to you, I can't wash it off because its permanent you shit head!"

Taylor's lip quivered from holding in the laughter as he answered her, "I didn't do this to you. No offense but I promised myself I wouldn't even go near you for the rest of the three months."

"Then who the hell did? If no one fesses up soon, I'm going to make the rest of this little holiday a living hell for each and every one of you," she screamed as she stomped out of the room.

"Bungholian," Melinda called after her, "Hey we got lucky, ours is easy to wash off. Whoever did this is smarter then I thought!"

Zac joined the rest of the group at the kitchen table for supper. It was spaghettios since hardly any of them knew what the hell a tablespoon was. He stared at Desiree. What he couldn't figure out is why she was so nasty and acted like Joan Rivers on a bad hair day when everyone was being more then nice to her.

"What do you think you're looking at blockhead," she called at Zac when she noticed him staring at her.

Zac smiled sweetly, "Not much. I was just thinking about what a complete loser you are!"

"I wouldn't talk it does seem to run in your family," she shotback as she gave him the middle finger.

By this point Isaac had gotten all worked up again, "Okay that's It!!! Will you just quit being such a bitch and shut up so that we can actually become friends here even though I don't even see why were trying with you. I mean it's already been a few days and already we all hate you and..."

"The feelings mutual," she interrupted as she slammed her glass of milk down and ran out of the room.

Summer shook her head, "Isaac did you really have to go that far? I know shes being mean and all but we could atleast try to ignore her."

"I know but it's just so hard," he replied as he threw his arms up in the air for emphasis.

"I understand where you're comign from," Melinda answered, "The last straw was when she insulted my fashion opinions!"

Zac stayed out of the conversation until then, "I'll go check up on her. You guys stay here. I'll be right back, and I'll scream really high pitched if she tries anything in appropriate," he promised as he chased after Desiree.

"Lets pray she doesn't kill him," Melinda mutteres as Zac was out of hearing reach, "Who knows what she could do to him!"

Zac carefully approached the door to her room and gave ahard knock on the door before opening it. He walked in and closed the door behind him. Desiree had her face buried into the pillows on her bed and soft sniffling noises could be heard.

"You know you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Ike just gets a little carried away sometimes. I'm sure he didn't mean one word that exited his mouth."

Desiree jumped at the sound of his voice, "Look you don't know the half of it and it's not even any of your business so could you please leave before I take a bat to your head," she growled.

"No I'll take the chance. I don't know whats with you but you know you can talk to me about it right? If anythings botherin you..."

"Oh shut up! No one asked you to come in here and sweet talk with me like you do with all the other sluts," she groaned giving him the evil eye that she had given Ike earlier on.

Zac stood up at this comment, "Excuse me? That's it, all I did was come in here to see if you were alright and I was concerned but there you go and start insulting me already so I'm going to go now and next time you need someone to talk to just think that no one will wnat to hear it," he calmly stated back as he made his way to the door.

"NO Zac! wait a minute, I'm sorry I really am. Please stay," she coaxed as her face became a soft expression instead of the normal stone glare, "Please don't leave me all alone!"

Zac let out a satisfied sigh, "Okay I won't, lets go back out there together. This time Im warning you to be nicer to everyone. Do you promise you will?"

"I'll try. I seriously will, but if they piss me off somewhere you better expect me to make a smart ass comment back!"

"Um no offence or anything but I think everybody already expects that," Zac laughed.

"Ha ha very funny. Well here goes nothing," she mumbled under her breath as she followed Zac out into the living room.

Everyone turned to stare in amazement at a scarless Zac, in fact he had a pleasant smile on his face that looked like it said, 'I did it.'

"Uh hi guys," Desiree said quietly under her breath.

""Hey girl, are ya feeling better," Taylor asked giving her a kind hearted smile.

"I guess so. Nothing ever felt wrong in the first place," she responded smugly as Zac nudged her in the ribs, "Ouch!! I mean, hehe yeah much better thank you!"

Everyone stared in astonishment at her. She was being...nice!

"That's good," Summer exclaimed happily, "But lets go to bed I am wiped out she," she expressed happily
