1. Walk The Moon - Shut Up and Dance With Me The only problem I have with this is...Number ONE? And whether it qualifies as rock I question, too. But I admit to liking it.

MY Top 15 from 2015. Give these a chance. Click on the song title to go to Youtube and listen.

The first ones listed are true pop songs that I find catchy, but I don't include those in my top 15. There were plenty more to choose from.

  • Marina and the Diamonds - Blue A little reminiscent of Madonna at times.
  • Walk The Moon - Shut Up and Dance
  • Mark Ronson w. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk

    The BEST 15 of 2015

  • 15. The Darkness - The Last of our Kind
  • 14. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Ballad of the Mighty I
  • 13. U2 - Every Breaking Wave
  • 12. Paper Kites - Revelator Eyes
  • 11. Mew - Rows

  • 8. Paper Kites - Electric Indigo
  • 7. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Riverman
  • 6. Death Cab For Cutie - No Room In Frame
  • 5. Belle and Sebastian - Nobody's Empire.
RE: Belle and Sebastian, if you can get past the chick mouthing the words...sung by a guy...it resembles something the Kinks might have done.
  • 4. Neal Morse Band - Grand Experiment
  • 3. Mew - Satellites
  • 2. Gypsy - Dance Marengo
  • 1. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - While The Song Remains The Same

Note: Releases as early as October 1, 2014, may be included as most songs released after that don't get a chance to chart in time to make the current year. I hope you enjoy the songs!

My video nominees of the year:

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Riverman
gets the nod due to the visual effects on the guitar strings. It's an enjpyable video to watch and a good song.
