About The Author...

Charles P. Mottola, Jr. is a special education teacher with a passion for writing, particularly poetry. He lives in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, with his wife, Carole, and his Doberman pinscher, named Sally.

Charles enjoys portraying the common, everyday person, place and thing in the most uncommon manner.

"I guess I am the consummate observer," he says, "and I love the exploration and interpretation of all my surroundings."

WHEN I LOOK FOR YOU is a compilation of poems about the people he's known, or at least wished he had known, the places he's been, or dreamed of being...and the objects which make life all the more worth living.

"I believe we are indeed blessed with our senses, and to walk the paths of life unseeing and with deaf ears is a flagrant waste, and at the very least, a gross mockery of all that should be most appreciated!"

Everyone who reads WHEN I LOOK FOR YOU will find that understanding and appreciation of life truly comes from imagination...and the pure enjoyment of allowing it to run freely, and that overlooking boundaries and daring to trespass is the only way to go!
